Parents should be blamed for childhood obesity. Why? Children tend to eat what their parents eat, finds a new study that suggests a parental contribution to the growing obesity problem among young children and teenagers.Teens whose parents eat fast food or drink soda are more likely to do the same.

“Good dietary habits start at home. If parents are eating poorly, chances are their kids are too.”

That is why is true that when I am outside, I do saw both parents that are overweight and when looked at their kids..they fall in the category of childhood obesity. What does the kids will think? My parents are fat.. it is normal for me to be fat because it is in our gene. This is a “myth”. No one is born fat!

Parents should play the role to start eating healthy. More fruits, more vegetables, less teh tarik/coffee. Parents are the primary role models for their children and their behavior can positively – or negatively – influence their children’s health.

Is your children’s health important to you?  Ask yourself…
